Humanoid Project

Electromechanical design and dynamic modelling of a humanoid robot platform for the Adaptive Systems Laboratory at the University of Waterloo. This is a 14 degree-of-freedom (DOF) lower body bipedal robot aimed for walking research. The designed robot is being used to validate innovative walking control strategies for walking bipeds.

Thought-Controlled Wheelchair

Built a fully functional prototype of a thought-controlled wheelchair which is powered by electroencephalography (EEG) for a fourth-year design project. Won first place at the annual ECE Design Project Symposium.

TEDxUW Speaker

Invited to speak at the first ever TEDxUW event held on the University of Waterloo campus. Presented a talk about overcoming the various challenges faced during the development of the thought-controlled wheelchair and key lessons learned.
